CURRENT GROUP STATUS

The Group is now meeting again in person and has a full programme.

We meet on the 4th Friday of every month from 10.30am - 12.30 pm, apart from August.

The venue is a members house, or an agreed meeting point for a visit to a garden.

The format is informal. Members bring information about plants of interest and we study different aspects of plant growing eg seed sowing, cuttings, pruning, lawn care. We usually alternate visits to gardens with an "at home" session.

For further information about any visits please contact Hilary, details below.

We currently have 12 members, but as some do not come regularly we could accommodate a couple more.

There are no joining requirements other than an interest in gardens and plants, and the ability to travel to gardens we visit.

Convener: Hilary White, tel - 020 8560 3564, or email through the link above, at the top of the page.

July 2026, Visit to Ascot allotments

July 2026 Visit to Ascot Allotments
July 2026 Wild cabbage

Before setting out for Ascot Allotments we enjoyed delicious homemade banana bread and refreshments at Cathy's home with Luisa, our host from the allotments. Luisa gave us an excellent tour of the allotments and some amazing produce for us to take home. Such a lovely day. Thoroughly enjoyed by all.

Kew , April 2026

The Gardening Group enjoyed a visit to Kew Gardens to see the beautiful tulips and some of the 30 Henry Moore sculptures installed across Kew Gardens. A wonderful day.
