This page, and the sub-pages, contain links to many websites and, in some cases, documents which may be useful to members of our U3A. These lists are sub-divided into topics that complement one another.
An EALING PLAQUES walk - Carole McLoughlin, one of our members, has devised a walk, starting at Ealing Common Station but which could be picked up anywhere en route or nearby. It probably takes up to about 40 mins and includes 8 (or 9 as an extension) blue plaques in and around the Ealing Common, Central Ealing and Gunnersbury Lane area, thereby keeping to an easily managed stretch of our Borough. Carole has written instructions in two parts/sections (click on the link above to access these) - one is the instructions and route to be taken with a space to add the dates and information given on each plaque, and a second section which gives just a little more detail on the person or people named.
