The purpose of this group is to enhance our knowledge and understanding of topical issues.

Members will discuss one topic per meeting. The topic will be decided by the group about a week before the meeting, and is likely to be an issue which is prominent in the news at the time. The meetings to take the form of one person providing an introduction to the topic, after which there will be a general discussion. Members must respect each others’ views, and accept that they may not always agree.

The group has been meeting since September 2023, and meetings continue to be held on the last Tuesday of each month at 3:00pm at a public venue in Ealing Broadway.

Members need to be on email to join the group, and have easy access to the internet.
