You must be a Member of Ealing u3a to take part in an Interest Group

The Group meets on the second Friday of each month, starting at 3:00pm at the convenors’ house in Hanwell.

This Group runs in a different format from other Book Circles; it does not read a single book each month but rather asks each member to bring along details of a book (or books) they have enjoyed recently. This is to “publicise” books to a wider audience and get members thinking of new areas of reading. We have equal emphasis on Fiction and Non-fiction and there will be no requirement to read a particular book in advance. This format encourages participation by all members of the Group and a lively discussion.

We also circulate a monthly newsletter of book reviews by the Group members.

The group also runs a book exchange, where members can access at least some of the books discussed plus any others that members wish to donate to the Group. The idea is if you take a book out of the exchange you should donate a replacement.
