Acting for Fun
We’ll be using acting games in pairs or as a group to explore voice, body awareness, and character in a very light, and of course, fun way — no experience or "serious" drama required. Think playtime for grown-ups, with the added bonus of light physical and mental exercise. We’ll be on our feet for most of the hour, though we will try to ensure chairs are available for those who need them. If the group would want to do so, we could also have a goal of working towards presenting some scenes from plays at some point in the year.
Venue: The Acting for Fun sessions are to be held the 4th Thursday of each month from 2:00 - 3:00pm, with the first session on 25th June 2026. The location is Ealing Green Church, Ealing Green, London W5 5QT.
Cost: A monthly contribution of £2 will be requested. But, just in case, please don't let that be a barrier to joining. There will be no "contribution police" as long as the majority of the cost of the hall is covered each month.
Requirement: We will need interest from at least 12 people to ensure plenty of group energy!
Group Convener: James Kyle, contact him through the Group email link at the top of the page if you are interested.
