You must be a Member of Ealing u3a to take part in an Interest Group
The London Revisited group visits public buildings that are open for group visits. The schedule/dates/costs of any New outings will be shown in 'Forthcoming Events' below and in our regular Newsletter, with details of how to book a place on these.
This group is dedicated to providing our members with the opportunity to visit, within Greater London, buildings that are normally inaccessible to the general public but which can be arranged for pre-booked groups such as ours with the benefit of in-house guides. The places of interest can include museums, churches, historic guilds, exhibitions, trade and professional organisations, palaces and other historic buildings as well as occasional Guided walks.

Our usual day for such outings is the last Wednesday of the month although we try to arrange an occasional outing on the Tuesday. Certain venues are, however, only available on other midweek days. We arrange approximately 10 events within the year. In certain circumstances we may be able to visit a popular venue on both a Tuesday & Wednesday in the same month.
This year we are delighted to have the additional use of the services of George Martin who will also arrange the occasional special visits to new venues as well as the some guided walks. These particular outings arranged by George will only be announced at a Thursday morning talk when names/payments can be taken.
Where possible we look to arrange places for 20/25 members (some venues will allow more) and also try to include tea/coffee within the cost of the outings.
PLEASE DO NOTE: This is NOT a closed group and is open to ALL members providing they register their interest with the group leader.
Convener/Group Leader - Derek Atkinson, tel - 07504 667005, or email through the link above, on this page.
The Group leader will announce the appropriate outing at Thursday morning meetings as well as on the website and can take bookings/payments at these meetings and also by email via the link above or by phone/text to Derek Atkinson on 07504 667005 with payment (in cash) made on the day of travel.
Note also that these events are usually pre-paid by the convenor in advance of the event.
