Transport Group

This group meets on the 2nd or 3rd Wednesday of the month and will generally visit venues associated with various transport modes.  Dates may vary according to the opening times of the venues chosen.  

The first meeting was a visit to the London Museum of Water & Steam by Kew Bridge in February; in March the group visited the London Transport Museum in Covent Garden and, in April, we visited the Didcot Railway Centre. In May, we visited the RAF Museum in Hendon, June saw a visit to the Brooklands Motor Museum in Surrey, whilst in July we had a visit to the British Airways Heritage Centre in Harmondsworth.

There is no meeting/outing in August. For our September outing details will be shown under 'Forthcoming Events' below when finalised.
