Bridge (Level 1 – Level 2)

This group is now meeting again every Tuesday at a venue in the Gunnersbury area between 2:00pm and 5:00pm

We play Standard British Acol (four card majors, weak no trumps) without any fixed partnerships so that everyone has the opportunity to play with different partners.

New members should have played bridge previously and already be familiar with basic Acol conventions. Although we  are unable to accommodate complete beginners, we are a friendly group and are prepared to give occasional help with the less well-known conventions. We like to provide a learning environment and often discuss the hands once they have been played in order to improve our bridge knowledge.

Some players from the more advanced Monday bridge group are often present and are happy  to provide advice/assistance when necessary.
