EALING u3a(*) is a co-operative of older people sharing educational, creative and leisure activities. We are one of over 1,000 UK branches of an organisation for semi- or fully- retired people, and we currently have over 600 members. The u3a is a non-religious and non-political movement.
See the MEETINGS, EVENTS and GROUPS pages for information about our activities, and the ABOUT US page for more information about the U3A organisation.
Our Thursday morning Meetings are held at Ealing Green Church (shown here) in Central Ealing. Talks take place here on the first, second and fourth Thursdays each month. See the MEETINGS page for more details.
Details of other Events (eg. Outings, Theatre visits, Walks, Coffee mornings) are shown on our EVENTS page.
You must be a member of Ealing u3a to take part in any of our activities. For information on how to join Ealing U3A, please see the Membership page.
We also have over 50 Interest Groups which meet regularly - some of these are illustrated in the banner shown here, produced by our Crafts group.
Our Groups include Bridge, Book Circles, Current Affairs, Exercise, Family History, various Language groups, various Music groups, Lunch clubs, various Games groups, Table Tennis and Theatre outings. See the GROUPS pages for more details.
(*) U3A stands for 'University of the Third Age' but this is generally abbreviated and no qualifications are needed to join. The 'Third Age' is a time to learn for the pure pleasure and joy of learning.
